One of the things that keep us up at night is worry about money. Here are a few ideas to help.
First, remember that money is just a tool. Having money doesn’t make you a better person, and not having money doesn’t make you a bad person. Money is just a tool that is not worthy of either our worship or our worry. It behooves us to learn how to use money.
Second, you need a plan for your money. A person cannot anticipate everything that might happen, but even when things go wrong, it is better to have a plan than to have no plan. Often, we don’t think about having a plan until we are in trouble. That is not the ideal time to make the plan, but it is when we are motivated. We start where we are and move forward from there.
Third, it takes time to solve money problems. If worries about money are keeping you up at night, you are not going to have the problem solved by morning. Make you plan, stick with it, and eventually things will turn for the better.
In our sermon this Sunday we are going to talk about worries about money.
