We believe that God can do anything. We believe that God loves us. So why doesn’t God fix our problems?
Two thoughts:
First, God has a purpose for not fixing your problem right now. God has a purpose for everything. God is sovereign over every second of every day of eternity. As Jesus said, not a sparrow falls to the ground without your heavenly Father’s consent. If God is not fixing your problem, it is not because he is unable or unaware. If God is not fixing your problem, he has a reason.
Second, God’s purpose for not fixing your problem is that he has something better planned for you. God’s purpose is to reveal his glory to you. The meaning of our lives is bigger than fixing our problems. The meaning of our lives is to give glory to God. Maybe God is not fixing your problem because your problem is the way that God will reveal to you his glory.
