What Do I Do About the Evil in the World?

Injustice.  Cruelty.  War.  Poverty.  Everything that works against our security and happiness.  What do I do about the evil in the world?  Two key considerations.

First, trust that God is a God of justice.  There will be a day of the Lord.  We will all stand before the judgment seat.  We will all be held accountable.  God will bring justice.  It may not be exactly in the form we would want, and it may not happen as soon as we would like, but it will happen.  As it says in the Bible, God is not mocked.  God is a God of justice.

Second, overcome evil with good.  The epitome of overcoming evil with good is the cross of Jesus Christ, who did not retaliate, and thus defeated sin, death, and evil.  Be like Jesus.  Be proactive.  Think about creative and even fun ways in which you can respond to evil with a display of goodness.
