A spiritual journey moves us closer to God. The journey begins with a simple question. Is God even there?
Yes, God is there. We know because we see the world that he made. We know there is a Creator because we can see the creation. We look up at the stars in the night sky, we hear the waves crash on beach, and we know there had to be an artist behind it all.
Yes, God is there. We know because everyone says so. Almost everyone says there has to be some kind of God. Not everyone has a religious affiliation but almost everyone believes there is some kind of deity. We don’t all agree on the name or nature of God, but we all think he is there.
Yes, God is there. We know because everyone is looking for him. God put within us a desire to seek him. God designed us to feel hunger because we need food. God designed us to feel thirst because we need water. God designed us to seek him because we need him.
In our sermon this Sunday we will talk about the question, “Is God Even There?”
